Terms

Short, because this build does very little on your behalf.

Pre-launch build. These are not final terms of service. They describe what the software does today so nobody is surprised by it.

What Invoice does

It turns what you tell it into an invoice document, calculates the totals and GST from the figures you confirm, and gives you that document as a PDF.

What stays yours

The invoice is yours and so is responsibility for it. Invoice does not give tax, accounting or legal advice. Whether you are registered for GST, whether an amount includes it, whether a document meets your obligations, and whether the bank details are right are all things you confirm and we print. Check your position with your own accountant.

The Australian tax-invoice rules in this build are an implementation of published guidance, not professional advice, and they have not yet been reviewed by an Australian tax professional. That review happens before launch.

What Invoice does not do

  • It does not take, hold or process payments.
  • It does not talk to your accounting software.
  • It does not chase overdue invoices or send reminders.
  • It does not send anything without you confirming it first.

Fair use

There are limits on recording, drafting and sending, and they tighten if usage looks automated. If you hit one, your draft is kept and the screen says what to do next. Invoice is not a way to send bulk email: one recipient per invoice, a fixed message, and no batch sending.

No warranty

This is a build under development, provided as is. Keep your own record of anything that matters, and download your invoices rather than relying on this to hold them.
